Whether you are trying to professionalize your online branding through your business’ Instagram page or simply want to make your captions look less cluttered, the ability to add spaces to your Instagram post is a handy, yet surprisingly difficult trick to master.

I've lost count of the amount of times we have been asked these questions, so here are a few simple tricks to space out your Instagram posts and make your social life easier:

💻  On your computer

To get the clean, slick spaces in your caption without the use of garish bullet points to separate your paragraphs there is a simple trick if you are on your laptop!

Simply copy the spaces between these brackets ( ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀) and paste them between the sentences you would like there to be space in between.

Note: be careful to click the space bar once between the end of your caption and the beginning of the pasted spaces or it will not work.

Copy and paste these blank spaces as many times as you like to create as big or as small space in your caption as you want!

Once you have pasted in all of the blocks of blank spaces you will need to click the space bar once more before listing your hashtags. Voila!

😄

A perfectly spaced caption that seamlessly hides hashtags and gives your Instagram a crisp presentation.

📱 On your phone

The method to spacing out your caption on your phone is slightly different!

Firstly, write out your desired caption.

Then, hover your thumb over where you would like your caption to be separated out and leave the cursor at that point.

Ensure there are no spaces between the last letter and your cursor.

Double click ‘return’.

This trick won’t work if you have multiple emojis at the end of a line, only 1 emoji at the end of the line and ensure there is no space between your cursor and the emoji.

Have fun with these simple tricks- Happy Instagramming! 🤗 🙌
